The City of Farley is attempting to compile a list of area residents currently serving in the Armed Forces.  If you have a relative or know of someone, please contact City Hall at   744-3475 or e-mail us at cityclerk@farleyiowa.com .  Please help us honor our local Military Personnel.

The Farley Park Board has an open position for the 2008 year.  Names can be submitted to City Hall.

WALKERS IN MEMORIAL HALL

For those of you who enjoy your daily walk, the hall will be open at 7:00 AM and will close at 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, beginning November 1.  If inclement weather hits before that date, the hall will be open on those days.

The City will collect old cell phones for Secure the Call Foundation.  This program will reprogram the phone to be used as free 911 emergency phones that will be distributed to domestic violence shelters, senior centers, neighborhood watch groups, school crossing guards and other agencies with an immediate need for 911 access.  So if you have an old cell phone lying around bring it down.........No chargers or accessories.
