ORDINANCE NO.   2006-08 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FARLEY, IOWA, AMENDING  SECTION 3-11-07, BY DELETING  PARAGRAPH  EIGHT (8) AND CREATING A NEW PARAGRAPH  EIGHT (8) TO REVISE PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL LICENSED VEHICLES

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FARLEY, IOWA:

            SECTION 1.               That the Code of Ordinances, Section 3-11-07, Paragraph 8, is hereby deleted and is replaced with the following Paragraph 8.

            Paragraph 8.                 All licensed vehicles parked in a residential area shall be parked on a surface of gravel, blacktop, or asphalt or within a garage.  No more than two licensed vehicles may be parked in rear or side yards of residential areas when this rule is adhered to.  The parking area shall at all times be kept free of weeds and all foliage.

            SECTION 2.               WHEN EFFECTIVE:    This ordinance shall be in effect from and after it’s final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
